Avoid creating multiple docker compose files for each npm script command

0

I'm running into a situation where I need to create one docker-compose for my dev setup, one for the dev setup with node inspection mode, one for tests, and now I need one more with inspection for tests..
Is there a way in docker compose to be able to pass a flag or a variable straight from the docker-compose command, for example:

docker-compose -f docker-compose.yml -f docker-compose.test.yml up --abort-on-container-exit $INSPECT
