Unable to redirect to another page using header tag it displays a white backend url page

Hi i am trying to update the user data in my database and below is my backend php file that process this, for some odd reason once the query gets executed the header tag is not kicking in and redirecting the user back to his profile page instead a white page is displayed with the url of this backend php file could some one please tell me what is wrong with this code thank you !

$passW=$_POST['pass'];

    @joseph_J i fixed the bug its just that i was redirecting before the end of the if statement so i just moved the header out of the "}" and it fixed it :) thanks for the effort tho!
