Unable to Compare SQL Database Project in Visual Studio 2017

0

Created a blank SQL project in Visual Studio 2017

I have Visual Studio Professional v15.9.4.

With SQL Server 2008:

Right Click > Select Target > Selected Connection String of a server which has SQL Server 2008 installed > Clicked Compare button > Can see difference in result

With SQL Server 2016:

Right Click > Select Target > Selected Connection String of a server which has SQL 2016 installed > Clicked Compare button > no difference / output in result

I see message "No Difference Found", but I have chosen "Blank" SQL project, thus it must show differences, but it's not

Spent lot of time before coming to Stack Overflow
