visual studio code plug in for angular 2 for component properties
I am new to Angular 2. Angular 7 actually. Started learning a week ago so for most of you this will probably be a stupid question or even might be a duplicate but I can't find an answer anywhere.
I am using Visual Studio Code as editor. I installed "Angular Language Service" as a plugin because I need the IntelliSense for the component properties.
Example:
{{serverElement.content}}
The plugin also helps me add/write the components in the HTML. It has autocompletion.
But here is the tricky part:
It finds the component name that I made and pressing tab completes it.
However, it's not completed like an HTML element. For example:
<app-server-element></app-server-element>
But it just autocompletes the name of the component like this:
app-server-element
So the Visual Studio Emmet stops working. If I disable the "Angular Language Service" plugin the IntelliSense for the properties of the components stops working and it doesn't find the component name in the HTML. I will have to write the whole name of the component by myself. But then when I press tab it completes it as an HTML element. Like this:
<app-server-element></app-server-element>
Now the Visual Studio Emment will work. It seems like I have to choose between either the "Angular Language Service" as a plugin or the Visual Studio Code Emmet. Any help?
TL;DR
"Angular Language Service" extension breaks VS Code emmet. Any solutions?
