So I have my REST app running on websphere 9.0

The application has a jsp to login where we type in credentials.
Lets say it redirects to (secure) mysite.org/userint
On this page I have links that point to sub URLs something like (not jsp but rest URLs) (secure) "mysite.org/userint/report/prodesc/prod_id".

The issue is with page refresh (F5).
If I click the above mentioned link, everything works fine. However, if I copy paste the URL and hit Enter key, the browser doesnt even make a server request and throws an 404. The same happens if I refresh the page after I navigate to it using the links in the application.
This seems to be working on another instance I have which is running on websphere 8.5.
I am not sure what and where to look at.

Only thing I doubted is that the web server or app server is setting the HSTS header in response and browser does not even make a request if I dont user the links in the UI. In the sense, (For example) I login, click on the link which takes me to (secure) "mysite.org/userint/report/prodesc/prod_id" this works fine, however, if I copy paste the URL directly in address bar (after login), browser throws 404 and does not even make a server request. The same is true if I simply refresh the page.
Please suggest on how can I enable copy paste of URL directly or page refresh (F5).
