How to add details of ALL_SCHEDULER_JOB_RUN_DETAILS in a table using stored procedures?
The below procedure runs a weekly job of dropping partitions from tables that is 6 months old. I would now like to add the logs of this job in a separate table using ALL_SCHEDULER_JOB_RUN_DETAILS. I'm not sure how to do this. Any help is highly appreciated.
PROCEDURE weekly_scheduled_job IS
BEGIN
dbms_scheduler.create_job(
job_name => 'delete_partitions'
,job_type => 'STORED_PROCEDURE'
,job_action => '"TEST_OWNER"."PURGE_LOG_PARTS"'
,start_date => 'SYSTIMESTAMP'
,repeat_interval => 'freq=WEEKLY; byday=sun;byhour=07;byminute=0;bysecond=0'
,end_date => NULL
,enabled => TRUE
,comments => 'runs weekly and looks for partitions that needs to be purged'
);
END;

First question is why? If you just want some details from ALL_SCHEDULER_JOB_RUN_DETAILS you can either grant the users read access to this table OR create a view that exposes just what you want them to have access to. Taking them and putting the details in another table does not make sense to me.
