Pass a value in a GET, use value in linq query, Angular 6
I want to send a http GET call with a value, then use that value to filter in a linq query. The value is set in the html input "ClassTimesStudentID". The GET function - getStudentDataAll() seems to only work when I run it in the constructor. The current return array is too large (takes 7 seconds), so I want to filter the array further in the C# linq query by passing the "ClassTimesStudentID" value in the query, returning a smaller array with students at the value location. I can't figure out the syntax in Angular component and service to do this.
Once I can pass the value to the C# controller, I don't know how to put it in the linq.
Back end is .NET Core 2.0, Entity Framework.
