is use packed "pdftools" for scrapping data from pdfs. However when I face .pdf file with size > 1 MB I must wait a long time before R upload the text (for instance ~4.5MB, around 5 minutes). I just got multiple error commands:

"PDF error: No current point in closepath"

What shall I do to improve upload time? Is any other package to do it quickly?

  • "PDF error: No current point in closepath" - that sounds like there is an error in the content stream instructions of that pdf.
