Conditional Formatting with Multiple OR functions [closed]

Multi tool use
I am looking to use conditional formatting to complete two or more functions. I want to use this OR()
statement to format a cell that contains 0
OR n/a
. Nothing too complex but for some reason I can't figure it out.
I've tried the following:
Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula...
Formatting function used is:
=AND(OR(A1=0,A1="n/a"),A1<>"")
I am expecting it to strike through and gray out anything with 0
or n/a
.

Stack Overflow is for programming questions. Normal use of Excel - such as conditional formatting - should be asked on Super User.
