What is the format of the rdata section in Windows executable files?
I extracted the .rdata section from an executable file. See below. I am trying to understand its format. It appears that the format of the .rdata section is strings separated by one or more null characters. Following that line of thinking I can extract these strings:
- libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll
- __register_frame_info
- libgcj-13.dll
And so on.
But then I encounter something that is clearly not a text string. See highlighted portion below. What is it? How to interpret it? Is it to be interpreted as a number? If yes, how many bytes in the number?
My overall question is this: How is the .rdata section formatted?
format executable hexdump
