Symfony - Headers not sent on HttpDeniedAccessException

0

I already had a look at this and clearing the cache didn't solve any problem.

I'm building an API which requires authentication with a Token, and sometimes in my code I throw new AccessDeniedHttpException('Requires Authentication'); but in my JavaScript on the client, I can't have access to the error.response object, because the CORS headers are missing. I'm using the Nelmio Cors Bundle, and it works great on all other requests when I'm not throwing an error.

I don't think code can help in this case but I'll show you anyway

if (is_null($user)) {
$response->headers->set('Access-Control-Allow-Origin', '*');
dump($response->headers); // Access-Control-Allow-Origin has the correct value
throw new AccessDeniedHttpException('Requires Authentication');
}

I'm on Symfony 4.2
