Swift 4 App unable to restart after manual quit
I'm working on an app in swift 4.2. I have an issue that if I manually quit the app by swiping up from the multitasking page, the app no longer works. It goes to the proper start page, but then if I try and segue from that page, it'll crash to a black scene. I'm not really sure how to debug this because as soon as you quit the app the Xcode debug session will stop( rightfully so).
However, I do not really know what is causing this or how to resolve it. How do you guys deal with a manual quit?
Also I believe that this only occurs in the simulator, as on my phone when I test it, the restarting works fine.
Thanks!
Edit
It is a black screen that also crashes. This occurs as soon as I click on the "login" button which sends a HTTP request and also segues as a callback from that function. However if I click another button on that page i.e "forgot password" which is just a segue, it also crashes.

Does it crash, or just show a black screen, as those are 2 very different things. You can always re-attach the debugger (even if you quit and started a new session) viaDebug -> Attach to process -> [YOUR_PROCESS]
