Module requests has no attribute 'auth'
I use a library (TwitterAPI) that needs requests module to work. When I run my python programme, it returns AttributeError: module 'requests' has no attribute 'auth'
.
- I previously executed the following command :
pip install TwitterAPI
. - I use a virtualenv venv and all project libraries are correctly installed into the venv folder.
- My PYTHONPATH is
sources
. - I have configured PyCharm to use the venv's interpreter.
So it does not seem to be a problem related to my code but maybe a bad configuration of something.

Also make sure you don't have another module named "requests" in your sys.path shadowing the requests package (typically one of your own scripts or modules named "requests.py"). You can check this by doingimport requests; print(requests)
, which will tell you what file has been imported...

I'm using the last version ofrequests
2.21.0 @IMCoins @iBug. And when I printrequests
I got<module 'requests' from '/Users/**/workspace/test-project/venv/lib/python3.6/site-packages/requests/__init__.py'>
which is legit

I have found the solution. I had a folderrequests
in my project which make a conflict with the requests folder of the lib. I simply renamed it :)
