When you upload your code to a live site, you need to be sure you have the database set up, too. Is there a live or production database?

  • Yes, I had setup a database on the live server and updated the database.php file with the live server database info before I even uploaded the site to live server.

  • usually you have to edit config/database.php. Also make sure that you set all data correctly.

  • Have you granted access for the database user to the database?
