I'm creating an architecture with some reactive microservices and their own cassandra database.
Some of the datas comes from old legacy databases.

I'm willing to go with Kafka someday but it's not possible for the time being (Ops problematics).

So I'm searching a clean way to make good batches with for one side, an old DB an the other reactiv REST APIs.
For some domains, I have a lot of data to upload from the old DB and I have a short period of time to process them.

I'm searching a way to accelerate the POST endpoint and I have some possibilities:

  • JSON List Post

  • BULK Post

  • JSON List compressed Post

Have you some ideas to accelerate the Data transfers?
Is it possible to use Flux in a http post request to transfert all the datas in one connection and one item at the time?

Regards,

Saveriu
