Python Matplotlib: Add legend to each subsplot

I would like to add a legend to each subplot on matplotlib. As you can see in the image below,my code only plots the subplot per 'userId', but it does not add the legend for each 'maneuver' for each subplot. In other words, I would like to add three different colored lines for each userId subplot. 



fig, ax = plt.subplots(figsize=(15,7))

airflow.groupby(['date_only','userId']).sum()['flow'].unstack(1).plot(subplots=True, ax=ax)
