Importing external file in Angular which uses some external dependency
I am trying to use an external module in my Angular App (RTCMultiConnection).
rtcmulticonnection npm
I am importing this module in my component
as follows:
import { Component, OnInit } from "@angular/core";
import * as io from "socket.io-client";
import * as RTCMultiConnection from "rtcmulticonnection";
This RTCMultiConnection.js file uses io
, but since it is not explicitly imported in this file, I get an error as io
not defined.
RTCMultiConnection.js
But Since I am importing this in my component, shouldn't it should work? Also, in this case what can I do to make this work?
