R: Illegal or missing hexadecimal sequence in chunked-encoding
I am calling a web service using POST, the returned values are used in the cost function of the Genetic Algorithm. The algorithm runs in parallel mode. I get the following error:
task 1 failed - "Illegal or missing hexadecimal sequence in chunked-encoding.
Here is the code:
result <- POST(url = model_ws_ip
,body = rjson::toJSON(data_sample[1,])
,encode="json"
, httr::add_headers('Content-Type' = 'application/json'))
value = as.numeric(content(result, as="text"))
r post microservices httr

Without knowing neither the url nor the content of your request, it's difficult to say anything. It looks more like a server-side error to me (and as such you can't do much more than contacting the service maintainer and describe the problem), but cannot be sure by any mean. Could you share more details? Did you try to usecurl
from the shell to see if the error persists?
