makefile $(()) in another () cause right parentheses ambiguous
In my makefile, I want to output a file with size
command output format using the contents of readelf
command outputs.
I can successfully execute the commands in shell script, but when I put the commands in makefile, $((16#$${hex}))
doesn't work so dec
doesn't have values. I guess from the vim UI text color that it may be the last )
of $((16#$${hex}))
doesn't match correctly. I'm not quite familiar with makefile, anyone knows how to deal with this?
size.txt : Makefile
$(MAKE) objs
echo " text data bss dec hex filename ">$@
(for X in `find . -name '*.o' -print` ; do
hex=`readelf -S -W $$X | grep 'sAXs' | sed 's/ss*/ /g' | cut -d ' ' -f 8`;
dec=`echo $((16#$${hex}))`;
echo " $${dec} 0 0 $${dec} $${hex} $$X";
done) >>$@
Now the output is 0 0 00000030 xxxx.o
and the expected output is 48 0 0 48 00000030 xxxx.o
.
shell makefile
