tkinter problem – NameError: name 'getData' is not defined
This is my code for part of a tkinter application:
root = Tk()
label1 = Label(root, text="Search")
E1 = Entry(root, bd = 5)
label2 = Label(root, text="Sample Size")
E2 = Entry(root, bd =5)
submit = Button(root, text="Submit", command=getData)
However, when I run the code I get this error:
----> 6 submit = Button(root, text ="Submit", command = getData)
NameError: name 'getData' is not defined
Why did this error occur?

You haven't defined thegetData
function which is called when the submit button is clicked. Also, this is more of a general python issue, albeit one which you are encountering in an effort to undertake some form of data science/analysis.

Your question is about Python GUI programming, not about sentiment analysis. Please update the title.
