I am facing an issue to use projection interface. As I have a complex entity which has OneToMany mappings recursively. So it was affecting the performance of query. Therefore I am trying to fetch only necessary fields from DB and map that to a DTO.
Constructor mapping cannot be used to as it is not supporting recursive values. So preferred to use interface projection.

@Entity
@Table(name = "cons")
@Cache(usage = CacheConcurrencyStrategy.NONSTRICT_READ_WRITE)
public class C implements Serializable {
@Id
@GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.AUTO)
private Long id;
@ManyToOne
@JoinColumn(name = "o_id")
private O o;
}

@Entity
@Table(name = "o")
@Cache(usage = CacheConcurrencyStrategy.NONSTRICT_READ_WRITE)
public class O implements Serializable {
private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;
@Id
@GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.AUTO)
private Long id;
@Column(name = "o_name")
private String oName;

}

public interface CustomCRepository  extends CrudRepository<C, Long> {
@Query("select c.id,o.id" +
" from C c LEFT JOIN c.o o LEFT JOIN " +
" where c.cId IN (:cIds)")

public List<CInfoInterface> findAllByConsignmentIdIn(@Param("cIds")
List<String> cId);
}

public interface CInfoInterface {
public Long getId();
public OSummary getOs();
public interface OrdersSummary{
public String getOId();
}
}

When I try to access the result of the query by the following code, it throws classCastException(Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: [Ljava.lang.Object; cannot be cast to CInfoInterface).

CInfoInterface and Entity C are in the same package.
Could you please someone help me to identify what is wrong here or what is the actual steps to achieve this.Aim is to query only a subset of entity and map that to a DTO.
Thank you in advance.
