How do I send an App Invite from my iOS App

0

I have been struggling withe the Facebook Messenger SDK... (FDSDKShareKit)

I am NOT trying to share to Facebook, I am trying to share to Facebook Messenger.

I am trying to add an App Invite link in my app. Have seen this in many other Apps, but all the API's I try to use either do not work, or it says they are deprecated.

Can anyone point me to an example, or documentation that is current that I can use to learn how this is done?

My latest code which does "sort of" work is below, but does not display the data entirely correct. It only displays a link with no message and strange text

    let linkContent = FBSDKShareLinkContent()
linkContent.contentURL = URL(string: KeyCenter.urlAppStoreDownload)
linkContent.quote = "Hello There"

let button = FBSDKSendButton()
button.shareContent = linkContent
button.sendActions(for: UIControl.Event.touchUpInside)

The other linkContent fields such as linkCOntent.,description say it is read only.

Thanks for any help!
