Unit testing using mockito for passing data

Here I'm creating a Random colour code. And I want write unit test to see
whether the values from createrandom() method stores into the getNumber() method's random color.



If you have any suggestion about what more thing I can test than please tell me.



As I am new to unit testing and cannot understand by just reading so need your help guys.



MainActivityViewModel :



public class MainActivityViewModel extends ViewModel {

private MutableLiveData<String> randomcolor;

public MutableLiveData<String> getNumber() {
if (randomcolor == null) {
randomcolor = new MutableLiveData<>();
createrandom();
}
return randomcolor;
}

public void createrandom() {
Random random = new Random();
randomcolor.setValue(Integer.toString(Color.argb(255, random.nextInt(), random.nextInt(), random.nextInt())));
