Filter HTML5 Input Actions on Mobile Phone

0

I have a requirement that file input form only accept pdf. When user click the 'choose file' button, it shows that there is 'document', 'camera', 'camcorder', and 'recorder'. Because I only accept the pdf file, how to filter this into only 'document' actions?

html5 input file actions in mobile

I tried with my code below on jsfiddle and it still shows above actions

<input type="file" accept="application/pdf"/>

I expect it only shows 'documents' action

  • If it is a mobile application, I think it is not possible through HTML only.
