Displaying Text and Images in Layers in Raspberry PI

-1

We are working on a project to display the text and images from DB on To screen.

I have code that shows images on raspberry pi (CV2 Library)

Now we want to do is overlay text on images - sort of notice board.
Using python in raspberry pi.

Any pointer/hints/ direction to begin with?
